Peter S. Wöhrle, D.M.D., M.Med.Sc., completed a four-year certified dental technician program (C.D.T.) in Switzerland. Subsequently, Dr. Wöhrle entered Harvard University, where he received his D.M.D. degree cum laude and was the recipient of the Norman B. Nesbett award for clinical excellence. Continuing his post-doctoral studies at Harvard, he completed the Advanced Education (Specialty) Program in Prosthodotics followed by the Advanced Education Program in Implant Dentistry. In addition, Dr. Wöhrle also holds a Masters of Medical Sciences degree in Oral Biology from Harvard.
He is a member of many professional organizations, including the Academy of Osseointegration and the American College of Prosthodontists.
Dr. Wöhrle's practice in Newport Beach, California is limited to Implant Dentistry and Prosthodontics, where he provides the entire spectrum of implant treatment, both surgically and restoratively. He is one of the few dentists worldwide with formal training in the interrelated areas of implant surgery, implant prosthodontics and implant laboratory technology.
