Liene Molly graduated as a dentist at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, in 2001. She received the 2001 student price of the Belgian Society of Periodontology.
She is presently in her fourth year of clinical assistant training in Periodontology under supervision of Prof. Daniel van Steenberghe and Prof. Marc Quirynen.
She combines this with PhD training, preparing a thesis with the title: 'Deviations from the classical osseointegration protocol in the use of oral implants.'
She (co)authored 5 full papers in international peer-reviewed journals and has lectured in several countries, especially on immediate oral implant loading.
