Dental surgeon, general practitioner, assistant with the faculty of Nancy since 1977, firstly at the department of periodontology, then in paediatric odontology. Participates in numerous programs for community education.

Michel Blique is a recognized lecturer; he was one of the first to adapt in France, for the daily practice, the Scandinavian and German concepts of individual dental prophylaxis. He practices in the east of France since 1976.

Founding president of the French society of prophylactic dentistry until 1998.
